WINSTECH ENGINEERING PTE LTD was incorporated in 2002 to service both the Oil & Gas and Construction industries. It evolved from Winson group of companies dealing in Building Mechanical & Electrical Installation and Services for local companies and MNCs, such as Motorola and Hewlett Packard in Singapore.

In 1995, Winson participated in the prestigious Petronas Twin Tower project which resulted to Winstech Engineering (M) Sdn Bhd being incorporated in KL to undertake the entire Chilled Water Piping and Plant Room Installation for Suria KLCC, Podium Block valued at RM 22 million.

After successful completion of the Petronas Twin Tower project, Winstech was awarded another project by KL Cyberjaya (Multimedia-Super-Corridor) in 2000 for Underground Chilled Water Piping System (Value: RM24 million) and completed in 2002.

When the Oil & Gas sector began to pick up, Winstech undertook some fabrication projects from Oil Majors. In 2004 and 2005, Winstech became approved vendors for Halliburton, Chevron Offshore Thailand and other oil service companies such as PSL Energy Services, Baker Hughes, etc.

Winstech undertook equipment integration and heavy steel fabrication works. Equipment integration was done according to clients’ specifications (Class 1 Division 2 Category) for Generator, Air Compressors, Hydraulic Power Packs, High and Low-Pressure Pumps, Batch Mixers, etc, all to ZONE 2 requirements.

As for Steel fabrication works, Winstech undertook works from local shipyards, tunneling and sand reclamation companies such as Keppel FELS, Jan Denul, Boskalis, Zublin, etc.

Quality Assurance

WINSTECH’s Quality Assurance Policy is to seek and ensure excellence and quality in all its endeavours to provide products and services which meet the expectations and requirements of the Clients.

Management shall provide a Quality Management System to the requirements of ISO 9001 to ensure that quality targets are achieved.

Business Processes

Quality is achieved by understanding all the business processes and adopting a systematic and planned approach to all activities.

Adequate Resources & Training

Quality is the responsibility of all Personnel within the company. Management shall provide adequate resources and training within the company.

Regular Audits

Regular audits shall be undertaken to monitor and evaluates the performance of the Quality Management System.

Perpetual Improvements

All personnel shall strive for perpetual improvements to the Quality Management System and business processes.

Health, Safety & Environment

WINSTECH is committed to a Policy of ensuring the health and safety of all its Employees, contractors and the end users of its products and service. This policy is supported by the following philosophies and objectives namely:

  1. All accidents and injuries are preventable.
  2. The preventions of accidents and injuries shall not be compromised for profit or productivity.
  3. All personnel are responsible for the development of a safety culture among the employees that shall facilitate the prevention of accidents and injuries.
  4. Management shall provide a healthy and safe workplace and adequate resources and training to ensure the success of this policy.
  5. Management shall adopt a systematic and planned approach to its business activities that ensure the safety and integrity of its products and services in their application and end use.
  6. Regular audits shall be undertaken to monitor and evaluate the performance of the Safety Management System.
  7. Management shall respond swiftly and positively when shortfalls in health and safety are identified and/or accidents occur.
